Peavy Lake Lake Minnetonka Real Estate
This choice body of water is named after and was part of the Frank H. Peavey(Highcroft) Estate, an entrepreneur in farming in the late 1800s. Peavy Lake was not part of Lake Minnetonka, but a channel was dredged that now connects it to Browns Bay. Boat traffic is limited due to the canal’s width and the height of the Ferndale Road Bridge, which runs over the canal. Peavy Lake lies within the city of Wayzata and is a closed throttle/minimum wake body of water.
