Forest Lake Lake Minnetonka Real Estate

This cherished body of water is located on the northwest side of the Lake Minnetonka, off West Arm and was named for its heavily wooded shoreline.  into the mid 1800’s this body of water was a not connected to Lake Minnetonka.  It was not until a channel was dredged to West Arm that it became part of the lake.  Due to height of the North Shore Drive Bridge boat access to the bay is limiting.  The land surrounding Forest Lake lies within the city of Orono.
